Good for Janet. Go girl!

It's neat when people who actually have the PASSION for the product (nostalgia, oldies, country, etc.) actually get to be in the playground. Am glad this worked out as she is one of those people who loves being in that environment!

Is Janet still doing KOMO traffic weekend afternoons? That would put her directly opposite her VT'd MOYL 11-3 time slot on KIXI.

yep, heard her on star at the same time as kixi. ohh the power of voice tracking. friends at sandusky say she's the receptionist there as well. kudos to janet.

Congratulations Janet.

Now show those dried up old "personalities" at MOYL just how it's done!
It would be nice to hear more of the old KIXI crew back on the air. I miss them all.

She was replaced Saturday by some young twerp with no feeling for the music. Does this mean her deal with MOYL has ended?

Yep Janet is gone from MOYL and from Sandusky bldg. where she had been PT receptionist. More Sandusky cost-cutting no doubt. I hear her doing Metro Traffic reports for KOMO.

Oops didn't see this post back in April. Yes I did resign from my Music of Your Life weekend show after the first weekend in April this year to concentrate on my job at METRO. I finally have some free time now, like normal non-radio folks, and am enjoying it. Although I was with Music of Your Life for only 6 months, it was fun and the listener feedback was trememdous. I actually received emails from England and Canada, from people who were listening via the internet. I also heard from all parts of the U.S. It was very cool. I have loved all my time in radio, and also am enjoying some much needed free time now too.

Janet you could read the telephone book and make it sound fun!
