January Ratings are out.

If you look at the ratings if you combine rewind 103.5/104.3's seperate #s together they beat gen x radio 106.7.

Other than a few good old school jams that 106.7 plays, I believe 103.5/104.3 is overall a better sounding radio station. I just don't get why 106.7 plays Matchbox 20 and other similar artists most of the day when we've heard these artists over and over again for the past 15 years or so on WNCI.

I haven't seen any TV for either Gen-X or Rewind.  Has anyone else?   I know CC did TV for 93.3.  As far as billboards, I haven't noticed any except for Rewind.

I haven't seen any advertisement for GenX and very little for Rewind. I'm not sure if advertising for GenX will help at this point if they don't improve their playlist. I know I'm losing interest in 106.7.

TV certainly couldn't hurt!

You nailed it. Goo Goo Dolls, Gin Blossoms and Matchbox 20 are so overplayed and bland. Where's Heavy D and the Boyz, LL Cool J, Janet Jackson and Aaliyah? If you look at the top tracks, they haven't moved much from this playlist since signing on: http://www.yes.com/#WCGX?chart

EDIT: After looking more closely at the last 12 hours, it's not too bad overall. A good amount of variety, and more songs from the last 10 years than I usually hear when I tune in. I guess it all depends on what's on when I tune in, because if I change, I generally don't go back.
