Jaquitta Williams

I just found this message on WSB-TV's web site:

"We want to share with you some news today regarding our colleague JaQuitta Williams. Doctors have diagnosed JaQuitta with breast cancer. She will begin her treatments later this week and the prognosis is encouraging. JaQuitta has decided to share the details of her illness and treatment in hopes of helping other women. She'll be writing a special blog right here on wsbtv.com during her recovery. She will post the first edition on Wednesday, just hours after her surgery."

Let's all hope she has a speedy recovery.

Ironic that this occurs on the day ABC's Robin Roberts returns to work from her cancer surgery.

Monica Pearson and Diana Davis both have had cancer scares as well, and both have come back healthier than ever. Sounds like to me JaQuitta will be OK. Having a mother who died of cancer (to the lung), I will be wishing JaQuitta well.
