This was a complete surprise. He's a lifelong Chicagoan and Sox fan, and is one of the best play-callers in the business, in any sport. But given the disaster area that the Sox are, top to bottom, he may have finally gotten fed up. This move doesn't affect his Fox gig. Best of luck, Jason!
