I grew up with 101X, and I listen to it terrestrially when I visit Austin every two months or so.
He told a great story of how he was interviewed by LBJS. He was interviewing for a 101X gig, and the interviewer stopped and said, “What is that smell” at least twice. Jason eventually said, “Hey guys, that smell is me, my sandals are causing that smell.” He still got the job, despite this flaw. I’ll never forget that. I wish Jason nothing but the best and hope to hear him on the airwaves, somewhere, in the future.
