Jason Pullman Question

I've been reading up on Jason Pullman.

When Q100 first signed on early in 2001, a guy named Jason Dean held down mornings for several weeks until The Bert Show started. I have a feeling this might have been Jason Pullman.

Pullman's bio mentions doing an Atlanta morning show. It also mentions Mix 107.3 in Washington, DC, which is where Jason Dean worked after filling in on Q100. In DC, Jason Dean was really panned by listeners. Finally, I remember someone from Q100 telling me that Dean wanted to move to L.A. to go into acting.

If Pullman and Dean are one and the same, he has come a long, long way. I was really impressed this morning.

Does anyone know for sure?

Bingo! You are correct, sir! I did some research, and it turns out that Jason Dean was the night jock on the Detroit country station, where he was hired by another Clear Channel country guru, Alan Sledge. Sledge was CC's VP of country programming before Clay Hunnicut. Sledge went from Detroit to SF, and he took Jason Dean with him [EDIT] At least Jason IS good on the air! It should be noted, however that both country radio stations that Sledge/Jason were at changed out of the country format...they were the kiss of death.

[EDIT-derailing thread]

Is he originating from LA or Atlanta? I read somewhere that alluded to him staying in LA. If his co-host is in ATL that certainly makes for some interesting logistics as well program flow.

He is in Atlanta and is here taking care of his sick Mother.

A listener asked him on Monday morning if he's worked in Atlanta before, and he was upfront and admitted yes, under the name Jason Dean. I believe he said it was Power99. He called his mom on the air and introduced Kristen. Sounds like he's staying.
