Yes this is a shameless self promotion (let the flame wars begin
) of the Hammer & Nigel Live BarCast (roughly translated, a weekly podcast recorded live at a bar). This week we have Q95/Bob & Tom's own Jay Baker joining us this Thursday at 9pm at the Ugly Monkey.
The Hammer & Nigel Live BarCast features 3 radio rejects all fired from their respective employers in the industry. Jason Hammer, former Kelly McKay producer for WZPL and Sports Talk Show host for WXNT, Nigel, former X103 Evening jock and Radio Now Drive time jock, and silent partner/producer BS, former Assis. Producer MPOS & Producer for the Drive with JMV and former Web Director for X103.com, Q95.com, and WNDE.com, have all teamed up to do something creative now that we have boring ass jobs in the real world.
We are heading into our 6th show. Have mostly figured out the technical issues and are looking forward to improving a bit. With as many radio people here, if you have any suggestions on how to get the quality better and better we are always willing to listen.
As for the past few weeks of guests we've had Mel McMahon, Nikki, Gene Rodriguez, the Metromix Girls (Adrianne and Amy), Rupert, Derek Schultz, and Kevin Lee. Next week is Jay Baker and later in the month we have Bob Kravitz.
We are uncensored and just trying to have fun, so if you want, come out and enjoy $.50 Bud Light Bottles, and Karaoke following.
