Anyone know what happened to this guy? He had a great voice and was with KRTH for ions? He's too good to end up in a second tier market.
 
I'm glad for him. I enjoyed Jay immensely on the air. As a programmer, not so much...

He is doing well in SF after a brief stint in Seattle at KBSG. The station had its best ratings of the year during his tenure and Jay did pretty well in LA during his time there too. Pretty much a gentlemen PD.
 
KBSG had the best ratings of the year during his tenure?! Which demo are you looking at?
Jay made the classic mistake of trying to replicate KRTH/KHJ in Seattle. His love affair with Hollywood showbiz gossip along with promoting a loser morning show just sealed his fate. Nice guy...but lousy PD.
