Jay Dixon Named PD at Hot 97

In my opinion Hot 97 needs alott of work. The station went payola crazy for the past decade and relied on their brand and history just to gain listeners but had a terrible product.
If Emmis doesnt want to sell WQHT then they need to have a balance. Target the 18-54 audience. Don't call yourself Home of Hip-Hop when your playlist is nothing but current trap music and degrading blacks and women. WQHT's direct target needs to be aimed at WKTU, WWPR, and 92.3 AMP. Play golden era 88-93, 90s, 2000s and current and some 90s, 2000s, and current house/dance.
Is Payola and Losing listeners better then losing Payola and Gaining more listeners?
Power 105 should go for the younger crowd 18-34 and Hot 97 should be a 25-54 crowd
