Jay Mac leaving WIMZ

Jay Mac posted on Facebook that she will be leaving the night shift at 103.5 WIMZ as of February 28, to pursue full time ministry. Assuming the shift stays local, it will be a very rare opening for someone.

Good opening, but it's a long shot for it to be filled by a "local". Last time this position was open, after the passing of Phyllis "West" Wexielbaum, was 2007.
Like then I fully expect a nationwide search for another "rocker" female.

Didn't necessarily mean they'd hire a person who currently lives in East Tennessee, but local vs. plugging in something syndicated.
