KXNT has announced that Jay Mcfarland will be moving to KRLD in Dallas to do a Weekday show from 10:00 - 1:00.

I've had the opportunity to meet Jay before, and I found him to be one of the nicest radio guys in town. I've always liked his show & wish him nothing but the best for a gig well deserved!

KXNT said this Saturday that they will be doing another Radio Star competition in January. Any thoughts on who should compete? (JD already blew his shot so let's not go there)

Is he going to move there or just do a 3 wire hook up? I thoughthis wife had a pretty good job in Vegas?? I never cared for the guy..crummy voice --old material but good for him

Also this business of a radio or tv person getting drunk as some promotion to stop holiday drunk driving is getting old...it doesn't do any good...that's why the founder of MAD got busted for DUI as well as cops, emergency room workers, george bush, etc etc -- people are not going to be influenced by a stunt that is poor radio anyway...at least she doesn't take off her clothes in public when she's drunk...the stationwould really end "flat-busted"
