Interesting to hear Jay Severin rant most of the day about the Steve Bailey "Business Column" which Severin calls a "Gossip Column" for picking on him.

Poor boy

The bully is now getting sand kicked in his face that he kicks in others on a daily basis and he goes crying to his audience that it is some sort of Boston Globe conspiracy that the Globe is always picking on him and doesn't like him.

I usually don't listen to Severin except maybe for a minute or so. As I noted on Fri (I tuned in
just because of this, because I was curious) he dodged the Bailey column issue...but I guess
he did it today, eh! (And Fri. wasn't a rerun to the best of my knowledge). This sounds like
other times when the Globe (or another paper, etc.) attacked him and he responds by
calling writers things like "Scat He-Lies". He also took issue with Dan Kennedy over one
column he did, and with the Globe's Clea Simon ("Jay Severin is not a racist, he says" is
how her article began.)

And speaking of Hillary, etc., some have wondered if someone like Jay could wind up on a station
like WBZ with what he has said about her: Can you picture a talk host who refers to someone as having a fat derriere as he does...?
Could you picture someone like Howie on WBZ for that matter? Not really--they try to stay
away from that stuff (and I _like_ Howie and his humor/nicknames aka namecalling for people, etc.)

What's wrong with me saying there are fakes, liars, cheats, crooks, etc., on both sides and being a bit
sarcastic about it (i.e., libs--and conservatives do this too--who basically say that their side
is always right and never has cheats, crooks, etc. I acknowledge you get it on both sides, folks.)

As for Jay well he's Mr. Perfect and he won't bother to look at himself and take a beating once in awhile
if well deserved (i.e., his email to Emily).

I checked out Pandora after reading the earlier post. VERY cool site, thanks for the tip.

The public airwaves fall in the domain of National Public Radio and other listener-supported outlets. Jay Severin is on a commercial station. In theory, the public owns the airwaves, but broadcast licensees pay a pretty penny for the privelege, and sell ad time to (hopefully) make that money back, and then some.
