On his Facebook page, Severin is hinting at a major announcement that's just "days away". I assume he's landing back on the air somewhere. Any guesses as to where it could be, WRKO, Talk 1200?

RKO and 1200 are the most likely spots in town (unless he plans to start up in some other city instead). 1510 of course is prob. the exact opposite of his philosophy and a) if he put him on,
Santos would be hoping enraging his listeners would work, and b) Severin wouldn't demand such a low salary (I don't think Santos has enough $$ for him, unless he could be assure of getting sponsors etc). WBZ, I would doubt of course (no spots, and he's not that kind of host).
Perhaps he'll get hired by some internet-only talk station, like the Hurricane one that has Pete
Sheppard. Now, some internet-only shows are good.... there's one at Shokus Internet Radio
called Stu's Show that's a lot of fun (interviews of baby boomer TV and cartoon faves), but
if he went internet only it would be catering to a much smaller audience. Satellite radio? Who knows!
But what spots are there in the RKO or 1200 lineups? What does RKO do, pair up McPhee with Howie
like they did yesterday (that was because Howie was off to do an O'Reilly show taping via a
hookup in Newton) and then give Jay the 1-3 slot? Does 1200 put Jay on at 6 or 7 pm?

The "major announcement" saying came on The Real Jay Severin fan page and it said to go to twitter.com and check out Jay_Severin. That account may be his, but the guy on facebook may be
a faker: when you go to Jay_Severin on twitter there is no mention of "major announcement"

Keith Olbermann got it right: on "Countdown", he would do a teaser for an upcoming segment, even the next one, and say it would appear "presently". I wrote "used to mean soon" because through usage, it is either acceptable to write "presently" when you mean right now, or it, um, soon will be.
Speculation on "The Real Jay Severin Fan Page" on Facebook has him going to either 1200
or WRKO; I would think 1030 or 1510, etc. are definite "no"-s.
