Jay Severin(o) Grasping For Straws and Makes A Fool Of Himself

Couldn't believe Jay Severin was blaming Governor-Elect Deval Patrick for mentioning that he had received an overwhelming victory over Muffy Healey on Tuesday night.

Patrick was only reflecting what the polls said - his lead was in double digit percentages.

Moreover, Deval Patrick's speech was reserved and moving and clearly reflected the man's nature.

Perhaps, Jay Severin didn't get the tape in Sag Harbor. He told Don Imus the other day that he had not moved to the North Shore yet. Gee, maybe now that he won't be living next door to a governor Severin might be looking for a new town....Milton perhaps.

Jay, you made a fool of yourself with those comments. You can do better
 
This, again, is proof that quality broadcasters are not available on the Boston airwaves.

Jay Severin is a fraud and a hypocrite. Mike Barnicle is a convicted plagiarist.

It is "who you know" not how much talent you have.

Jay Severin is still on the air? :) I wouldn't know...for some reason of unexplainable physics, my radio dial
is stuck on 680 in late afternoons :)

Shock, we agree! I would hope the police could bring Barnicle in when they need to get a criminal to rat
out his fellow conspirators--"OK, OK, I give up! I'll give you all the info you want! Just get this guy away from me before he bores me to death!"

Court would rule that exposure to Barnicle is cruel and ununsual punishment, though.

what a scam. it's amazing how much bad crap(imus, borenicle, lobel, o'reilly, severin, graham) you can throw on one good fm signal and the ratings you get out of it. making gold out of s h i t. that's what wtkk is doing. talk about a license to steal money from advertisers...yikes. it's up there, with general contractors, insurance companies, oil companies, airlines...
 
Laura Ingraham's worth it though (tho I think it costs WTKK nada to run her--some kind of
"run show if you run the ads" deal with TalkRadioNetwork I think)

Severin did manage to beat Howie in some ratings periods, though. That's their hope now--
7 year contract for Jay? Is he worth the $$$$?
