Jay Severin Off again. Gene Burns Making A Visit To Boston. Hmmmmm

Jay Severin is off again.... ' a little more than usual' and Gene Burns is supposed to making a guest appearance on Egan and Braude.

What if anything does it all mean.

Listened to Jay yesterday and he seemed a little more profane than usual.
"GD this and GD that" "Fat Cows..." ad nauseum. Sounded as if he was upset about something more than the current news of the day.

Someone wrote earlier that another Globe? expose on Jay in due any day.

Do all these factors add up?

Gene will take over after Jay leaves for syndication next year.
 
Would be interesting --just saw on News/Talk board that Westwood One has indeed
signed Jay to do a nationwide afternoon show-- but I would think WTKK would
simply carry the show (Extreme Games) and maybe even originate it, though it
might make more sense for a NY station to do that as Jay's based on L.I.

"Afternoon"--so is he taking on Rush or Hannity? "Talent on Loan From
Oxy-Contin" and "Sean Vanity" are probably not too worried :)
