I guess being in Boston, Jay was too far away from his home studio to make it back in time for his own show. Maybe his PD is thinking the longer Jay is away from the mic, the better his ratings might be. Although, I hear he does great with the young Japanese girl demo

He would, if AirAmerica was still in business. Besides, like a true bleeding Lib Casablanca would rather whine about everyone else than be constructive with ideas of his own. Just like the Democratic Party: Long on filibuster-winded screeching, wailing, and whining about the 'other side' and devoid of anything--anything--that they bring to the table themselves. Read the Boston Globe and listen to the caterwalling from Lib mouthpieces. Nothing about what THEY will do; it's all whiny rhetoric with queen bee 'nails-on-blackboard' Hilly leading the way.

I'm actually fairly liberal... make that very liberal... I miss progressive talk here but, fortunately, I can listen to their podcasts or stream the shows (Nova M and Jones too) to fill the void. It's a shame someone as entertaining as Stephanie Miller isn't heard in this market. But I can still put on WEEI after 10, when Dennis and Callahan are done. I don't like their bigotry so I choose not to listen. That's the best way to avoid the aggravation. It kind of s_ucks when I want to hear sports talk in the morning but at least 1510 fills a void and D&C aren't really a sports show, anyway. Incidentally, I've realized that WEEI actually has fewer commercials... they may start at quarter past the hour but only have one or two breaks the rest of the time.

please don't... they often have superior programming to WEEI... at least there's a morning sports show that sticks to sports and eschews politics.

I know... radio is a BUSINESS. I'm speaking from a purely programming standpoint.
