Gawd, sounds boring as hell. Where will this disaster hit? It says Top 10 markets, so were bound to get bombarded with more political BLAH, BLAH, BLAH.

WLS, WCKG, WCPT, WIND? I dont know which side this guy hangs really. Just because it's Infinity doesn't mean it will be on an Infinity station.

BTW, is this one of the multi headed hydra that will replace Howard? I prefer Adam, Diamond Dave or Even Dee Snyder!

He's certainly not going to be on WCPT. And he's not one of the Howard replacements.

At the moment, Severin is heard only on 96.9 FM Talk (WTKK) in Boston, although his show is broadcast from his home on Long Island. WTKK is a fairly general (conservative) talk station, airing Imus, Bill O'Reilly, Laura Ingraham, and John and Jeff, along with a few local talk hosts during the course of the day, one of whom is Severin. Severin was one of the station's first talk hosts when "96.9 FM Talk" replaced 96.9's former Smooth Jazz format in August 1999. At first, Severin struggled in the ratings, but over time, has gained a local following.

If I had to guess, I'd say that Infinity will place Severin on WCKG. WCKG is nothing like WTKK, but who knows what's going on at WCKG anyway. If Severin's syndicated program is similar to his current show (minus Boston-area topics), then it would fit well with Bill O'Reilly. Then again, nothing on WCKG seems to fit well with Bill O'Reilly.

Just some ideas...

(one other difference between WCKG and WTKK: WTKK has ratings)
