Jay Severin's "Writers" On Strike? Severin a No Show Yesterday

Jay Severin was a no-show yesterday. WTKK played a radio rewind - and a VERY old one at that.

What? Are Severin's writers on strike and he is honoring the picket line? ;)

Did you call that SHRINK yet about your obsessive behavior. You HATE Severin....DON'T LISTEN man, it's THAT EASY! ??? ::)
 
When I tuned in at 3:30 he was talking about news events that happened more than a month ago and talk about them in contemporary terms - not as old news.
Maybe, Jay is back on crack....

When I tuned in at 3:30 he was talking about news events that happened more than a month ago and talk about them in contemporary terms - not as old news.

Or maybe he heard that the Casablanca Severin Monitoring Service had missed a show and was running an old tape for a while so you could collect the entire set.

It's always nice to think the best of people.

Get Howie back on the air, ANYWHERE; I'm getting desperate. I actually tuned in to about half an hour
(during the 6 pm hour) of Severin yesterday. Yikes! Yeah, there was the predictable Hillary talk as well
as discussion of Clapton (as the National Lampoon once said, maybe a graffiti artist in London was a poor
speller and meant to say 'Clapton is GOOD'...)
 
Sometimes they will slip in an hour of radio rewind while the other three hours are live, so maybe you are both correct. I believe he was out last Friday, although after taking a month off in the summer, didn't he say that he did so in order to be here for the entire fall? ::)

I've noticed a lot of production issues on his show lately. After he introduces a caller, and the caller starts speaking, there is a high-pitched noise followed by what sounds like a guillotine (don't get too excited Casablanca -- I said "sounds like" a guillotine). Sometimes his IDSN feed "from Cape Ann" sounds like a 32K low-budget podcast. And the show is forever getting drop-off callers.

Has Jay Severin been abducted by the CIA for his hatred of Hillary????

Listened to Jay yesterday from 3pm to 5:20pm and for some reason the 5:00pm hour (at least) started out with a repeat of the 3:00pm hour...very odd.

Was Jay detained and sent to Gitmo, or did they have technical difficulties???
Or was Jay SICK....he was coughing alot early in the show. ;)

ENQUIRING MINDS WANT TO KNOW CASABLANCA!!!! :D

Perhaps, the fact that every Jay Severin show sounds like that last would give the impression that it was a "radio rewind".

Severin, whether broadcasting live or a repeat is violating one of the cardinal rules of talk radio: Severin is Boring and Predictable.
How many times can he say he hates Hillary Clinton? How many times can he call her a Commie? How many times can he call her Bovine? How many times can he call her Evil? .... And on and on. And that is just in the first five minutes of his show.

Severin, we get it you do not like Hillary Clinton. You say your audience in the 'best and the brightest' but you apparently think they have the memory retention of a flea.

When each program you broadcast is a carbon copy of the last you have become an unmitigated bore !
