Jay has been rescheduled to Monday March 22nd at 7pm on WVLT as my cohost. Phone lines are open at 856-696-0092. I've never met Jay before and it will fun catching up on the radio industry.

Jay is a radio icon and one of the founding fathers of New Jersey 101.5. This should be a very interesting interview where Jay hopefully will give insight of where radio has been and where does he see it going.

Rule #1: Frequency--92.1 heard in South Jersey/Southestern PA and a tad in Delaware.
Rule #2: Website--www.wvlt.com--click on 'listen live.' You'll have to download WINAMP if you don't have it on your computer already.
Rule #3: Friends and family are encouraged to call to give me the business.
Rule #4. I'll answer virtually any questions about radio honestly, yet I won't slander or libel anyone (my radio brothers and sisters can let out a "phew" as I like everyone.)
Rule #5. This ain't rocket-science--let's have fun chatting about this thing we love--radio!
Rule #6. Thank the host for inviting me--Thanks Steve Tatz host of the interview/talk show "Get Over It."
Rule #7. See rules #1+2.

Talk to you tonight! I'm looking forward to this.
Oh...and I'll be on CBS-FM 101.1 in NYC again on April 7th & 8th from 7pm-12mid--www.wcbsfm.com
BE BIG!

Big Jay sounded great last night. The CD he started out with highlighted his 66WNBC days was perfect. The hour flew by talking about radio's past, present and it's future. He brought up names like Hy Lit, Cousin Brucie and a caller asked about Ron Lundy. Big Jay said his future with the help of his friends will be podcasting. Why he's not on the air full time is such a waste of talent, anyone listening last evening would have to agree.

DAMN! I MISSED IT... anyone aircheck it?

I have the show recorded on a minidisc...haven't listened to it yet. Jay was awesome...great experience to have that kind of background to share a mic with. I'm going to invite him to check in occasionally via phone line to update his endeavors and from what I picked up on last night..they are going to be meaningful. Everybody wish him good health.

Thank you Steve!

I had a blast being interviewed a week ago, instead of being the one ASKING the questions for a change.

Thanks for dinner, even though there was a mini-drama taking place during our good-eats.

So you know, I haven't gotten the apology I was told I'd get quickly as of this posting.

I guess there is just SO much wasted energy on getting upset about NOTHING!

I did NOT make that alleged post to begin with (as you know and EVERYONE knows who reads this section of Radio-Info.)

Back to the point...

Your WVLT callers were super and your questions for me were spot-on.

Let's do it again sometime..

Some people had me dead and buried. But I'm back to let YOU know I can really shake-'em down...

Thanks to ALL of you who tuned in and wrote to me privately. It means a lot!

Some BIG things in store soon...in addition to my work at CBS-FM in NY. (Next appearances will be Wednesjay APril 7th, and Thursjay April 8th from 7pm-12mid both days...

To coin a phrase uttered by legendary cartoon and voice-guy Paul Frees...."Watch-This-Space."
(Thanks Hyski and Sam.)

BE BIG!
Jay
