Jay Stevens obit

I just heard about this and found this link to the Lincoln, NE newspaper. Jay was a great guy-I worked with him years ago and he worked at kfrx, too. This is so sad. Anyone have any details?


Jay Steven Wilger, 48, of Lincoln, died Tuesday June 7, 2011. Born in Lincoln on June 17, 1962 to Kenneth and Deloris (Kozisek) Wilger. Jay was a lifelong Lincoln resident.

Survived by his mother, Deloris Wilger of Lincoln; son, Noah Wilger of Lincoln; daughter, Kaelynn Wilger of Lincoln; sister and brother-in-law, Julie and Bernie Jelinek of Valparaiso; and nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 10, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 1720 Lake Street, Lincoln, with Father Sullivan Celebrant. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Lincoln. Visitation will be 12-8 p.m., with Rosary at 7 p.m., Thursday, June 9, at Wadlow Rozanek Funeral Home, 5200 'R' Street, Lincoln. Memorials may be directed to the family for future designation.
