Jay Trachman, R.I.P.

Former jock, programmer, showprep service publisher and long-time Fresno resident Jay Trachman passed away this weekend.
It was my honor and pleasure to work with Jay in the last year of his publication, "One To One." Jay was one of the true gentlemen of the business. He and his ilk will be missed.

This is sad news. Jay was a helluva talent coach. I used to love reading his columns in FMQB every week. Had the chance to befriend him when he was doing traffic for the then CBS cluster here in Fresno. I will always remember Jay taking his shirt off and riding an inner tube during a company picnic at Wild Water adventures in Clovis. Condolences to Jay's friends and family, he will be missed.
