Jazzy Jim joins Movin 997

movin should just change their name to WiLD ENERGY 99.7! it
would be cool if they brung back wild's sunday oldies show or slow jams at night...

i noticed movin is getting more known since its move to chr.

they do need to change the name, maybe like q100, to match the kmvq call letters

how about kmvq99.7 use the calls as the name.

i still like the name "movin" sounds cool, new. not many stations have that name.

In what capacity? On Air, PD, MD, Sales? Did he come from Smooth Jazz 103.7 KKSF?

According to industry sources, Former Clear Channel Top 40/Rhythmic KYLD(WiLD 94.9) programmer "Jazzy" Jim Archer has been hired as Assistant PD/MD of CBS Radio Top 40 KMVQ-FM (MOViN 99.7)/San Francisco and Online Content Director for KMVQ, Hot AC KLLC-FM and Alternative KITS-FM, effective December 1.

movin doesn't sound too top 40, they need to change it. Maybe jazzy Jim can actually make the websites look like from a #4 market

thats KREV's job they are the real top 40. movin is more rhythmic leaning. i think that sounds better in the bay.

Now they got Jazzy Jim? Geez. This station keeps getting better and better!
Those who remember "how it was done back in the day" will get it...
But not expecting him to take it back late 90's style in 2009.

Now they just need Jose Melendez. I wish KMVQ with the current dj's were here in Phoenix! You could have our KMVA!

I think the Movin' brand is leased to CBS, so if CBS ever wants to save some money, it might be wiser to use their already successful AMP Radio brand, although it might mess with listeners heads a little.
