JD Back on KZPS...sorta

So should we have them bring back Schelby? Surely the all-you-can-stand-to-eat buffets in town have finally recovered from her tenure here by now.

They've already got THE afternoon drive solution on their payroll: Cindy Skull. She did afternoons at The Eagle forever, and a little bit of 90s alt rock/grunge crossover added to ZiPS' playlist could bring in some of the now-grown-up ex-Eagle listeners she once carried.

Dillon's good, likeable and intelligent, no doubt, but he's much like the Brinkmans and Chapmans of the local radio scene: tired, with nothing really new to add that hasn't been said or done before. The long hair and rock-n-roll veneer doesn't undo the fact that he's been in this market for 37 years now.

I have no objection to Cindy doing the afternoon drive, so long as they take MaGoober off the air PDQ.
