What I'm more interested in right now is seeing all of the people that post the anti-JD messages going silent after the latest ratings trends. Not only did JD/KFYI not fail, but they virtually recaptured all of their losses from previous trends--which is exactly what I repeatedly predicted here.
Naturally, had JD taken a huge downturn in the afternoon, there would have been no fewer than 10 threads about it. For the record, I don't particularly enjoy his show, but most of you were completely burying him (and KFYI) before JD's first show and now... whaddya know, silence... it's almost deafening.
As for KTAR, they are making strides--slow ones, but progress is good. Seeing some decent news/talk competition in this market may actually make things interesting, because for about 5-6 years, KFYI has been the hammer and KTAR has been the nail.
