JD Power info

www.insideradio.com...

A new J.D. Power survey turns up a high degree of purchase intent for HD Radio in the car — if the price is right. More than half (52%) of vehicle owners surveyed said they “definitely” or “probably” would purchase HD Radio as a feature in their next vehicle, according to the firm’s latest survey of interest and purchase intent for emerging auto technologies.

I came to see what the gallery had to say about this and didn't see it mentioned. Not for debate from me, just here for the peanut gallery. Hope you all are well. :)

I wonder if these people knew what HD Radio was? I imagine some thought it was satellite radio, others probably thought it was a high end sound system or didn't care as long as it was included. There are people who think that an HDTV makes everything HD even when being fed an SD analog source. The amount of people who actually knew about HD Radio was likely very small.

JD Power has lost all of its credibility when they said their surveys show people are satisfied with customer service phone centers in India.

Surveys are pretty much useless. They carefully select a group of people and ask them carefully worded questions so as to get the response that they desire.
That's why political surveys are almost always wrong.
