Jeff sounded HORRIBLE and if he was worth anything he would be at a station now. Think about it...he had been on-air in Freeport for a period of time...if he had built up a sizable audience (totally entrenched himself in the market) that commanded ad dollars he would still be there...The Big Sleazy would have left him be. But, Jeff was no Don Werntz...and down the crapper he went. Look at his ad on the radio-online site. He is a whiner and complainer. Complains about his house! #!$@! Jeff wake up! No one cares that you have a mortgage...either you have the skills to do a job or your don't. Whining about the house is not a winning attitude. If Jeff truly wants to be more than a has-been morning show announcer (who only worked in a non-rated market and was canned) and wants to work in sales/marketing...destroy the photo on the website...get a haircut...a shave (The milk manager could help you with those) a bath and look like you have something more to offer than asking for a handout! Making buttons and magnets from home...roflol (see his website)...how PATHETIC! I bet the librarian loves that one. What's next...AMWAY? ;D
IMHO...Jeff didn't evolve and grow. He had potential...but became stagnant and did just enough to get by on the air...had zero ambition. Perhaps he should have been nicer to those around him in the past, networked and got an education! You have to ask yourself...being over 35 years of age making magnets at home did you make a wrong turn in your career path somewhere roflol! What a kick in the jewels it must be for Jeff to find the Milk Manager on the air and making a living doing what he wants to be doing...but instead he is sitting at home making magnets. No, life is not fair...but sometimes people end up where they are for a reason.

And exactly who are you to be passing judgments? Jeez. :
I worked with Jeff back in Freeport and have nothing but good things to say about the guy. When it came to being live and local, no one in Freeport did it better than Jeff did on WFRL.
Posts like this only confirm that these boards are trolled by either bitter ex-radio employees or people who think they have all the answers while knowing nothing about the radio industry.
