Jeff Bolton's off to Iraq...

I wouldn't say no one knows him. We listen to him on occasion. He is actually pretty good and entertaining. He does a fine job in a position that is not easy. We wish him well in Iraq. Best of luck Jeff and everyone who is accompanying you. :D

My wife used to listen to his music and, I think, saw him and Kenny G in concert once in Dallas. Is he singing to the troops in Iraq?

Perhaps KLIF will come to their senses and replace him with someone who has....talent?

Haa...Haaa I think a few morning shows around here could use your humor. You fuuny! :D

Let's see "not for ratings?" Isn't February a ratings month? Uh huh.

I'd like to know how much taxpayer money is going to be spent shuttling Bolton to, from, and around Iraq.

"Not for ratings..." Sheesh.

Really? February is a ratings month? That implies that there are months that aren't rated...Could you share with the rest of us what those 'months' are. Because months certainly implies long (like 30 day) stretches of no ratings. And I'd be interested to see what months aren't rated, versus which 'months' are rated.

Every month is rated in radio. I think KPLX is talking about TV sweeps month in Feb. Many radio stations emphasize the spring and fall books but there are only a couple of weeks a year when radio is not rated.

And about Jeff Bolton's trip to Iraq......will he now call himself the "Mayor of IEDville?"

I just wish this "regular guy, middle income tax payer, Texan just like you" would just be honest. He made a point of saying "no guests on the show " he now has guests. "I'm gonna talk about the things you guys do around the water cooler - (who has the biggest donuts etc. I guess) and "I am not going to go on about the war, it's not how I do business, we may touch on it from time to time" Chuff ! no we get a full "in your face " 4 hours of it every day. - but as he says "it's not for ratings"

Simple its not RADIO. What you are hearing is a weak facsimilie.

Sick of hearing about the war. If it's not that, it's Mexican bashing. What happened to local radio?

Immigrants, Governor Rick Perry and the war. What else is there to talk about? Bolton and Wells would like us to think they are on a mission from God. All local?? That really only lasted about a month. Now its the same old KLIF as before. Lazy - No original thinking - Just a rehash of the newspaper.

Bolton in Iraq - How cliche. Did no one think to mention that it's already been done dozens of times? I've been to Iraq and know how it works there. I assure you, its all been arranged. The only people we'll hear on Bolton's show from Iraq will be people that fit the radical agenda of Bolton, Wells and Savage.
