JEFF K has left the building at Cumulus Dallas' Classic Rock KDBN FM (The Bone 93.3) after 8 years as APD/MD and afternoonm DJ. JEFF was formerly at AAA KKZN-760 Denver-Thornton, CO and Adult Alternative KKMR FM (106.5) Eloy-Arizona City, AZ at the former Susquehanna.

JEFF made the comment: This is the first time in 15 years I've not been under contract! I can't wait to see what's out there. I'm really excited for the next opportunity! You contact JEFF at [email protected]. Give a listen to JEFF at www.jeffk.net.

(Post--note: oops, I just found the posts where you guys were already on top of this...sorry)

Ummm...hello? Jeff K was on the orginal KDGE 94.5 The Edge, then he flew out to Cali for a brief moment and then back to Big D at 93.3 Zone/Merge/Bone. I know he has his detractors here on this board but he's a pro and will resurface on the air somewhere soon...

I agree. JeffK was a bad fit with the Bone classic rock format. His background suggest that an Alternative/Indie Format is where he belongs.

Jeff does do well in the alt/rock/dance formats as he has knowledge of music and artists of those generes, I hope he lands feet first somewhere.

That original post must have been copied from AllAccess or something. Look at the faulty station list...KKZN and KKMR aren't even the actual versions he worked at; apparently AllAccess pulled up the CURRENT holder of those calls instead of saying that these were former incarnations of 93.3. And yes, lest we forget his time at The Edge--middays and the ever-popular all-request lunch hour. Decent stuff.

Does anyone think jeff will move to satellite (XM/Sirius), since they seem to be the only people in the business who get people want different formats?

Probably not, he'll probably stay in Dallas radio somewhere.
