I did notice that they have been trying out a few new voices on the morning news for the last few weeks. I thought Prescott was on vacation or something, but then he suddenly came on talking intermittently. He's definately one of the better people they have there.

Jeff's father Norm Prescott died July 2, so that may have influenced his decision top retire or cut back on work. Norm was a DJ in the 40's and later was co-founder and chairman of Filmation, an animation studio that produced all sorts of TV cartoons (and some animated spots) during the 60's, 70's and 80's.
