kmle (my former employer) blames the nite guy. or is it nashville's fault? kmle pd said this recently. funny how knix's mark medina finds better music coming out of nashville than kmle's pd.

btw- is that a record for a nite jock? fired 2x's in 2 yrs?

At least we understand your previous comments regarding CBS now, you got fired by them... gotcha.

...and no, it's not a record to get fired twice in two years in radio. In fact, that's a healthy career in this business. :)

Funny how I thought that both stations were pretty much playing the exact same music coming out of Nashville.

I don't work for CBS, I wish I did---not because they're great, but a gig is a gig and I pretty much wouldn't turn one down at this juncture.

Growing up in Phoenix, I heard countless jocks that jumped from station to station and then reappeared at their previous employer. There's been dozens of such incidents in Phoenix (and anywhere).

Getting fired is what happens in radio---sometimes it's for a legitimate reason, other times it's completely crap, every once in awhile it may be actionable :), regardless that's life in the biz. Everyone has a story or two to tell, I've heard many and I have quite a doozie of my own about a broadcaster in Phoenix that you wouldn't believe. Again, welcome to radio.
