Jelly Pudding must never die

Jelly Pudding must be preserved through this upheaval.
Couldn't agree more. This is a perfect time for WEBN to get back to it's roots. Put Mary and Jelly Pudding back on 102.7 and Tony Toliver as well. Keep familiar personalities like Jay Gilbert. Give Wendy Walker back her full time gig. Maybe put Gary Jeff on there too. Get rid of the new/active 'butt' rock and be "The Rock and Roll Station" that made them a staple in this market. Classic with a harder edge. Live and local. And here's a thought, bring back 'The News Brothers'.

They might want to check out KQRS in the Twin Cities as a template. As well as their own airchecks from the 70s. More sense of humor, less dirtbag rawwk. Or maybe no dirtbag rawwk. Brute Force Cybernetics unleashed. And more stuff like the live Little Kings song/spots they were doing in '78. And how about those spot tags that sounded more like Firesign Theatre than straight-voice crap. WEBN used to be a unique product...a radio station you could not tune away from because the spot and talent content was as entertaining as the music (more so, IMHO). Lately it's been just the usual uninspired content from corporate hell.
