Sources at Nexstar’s WOWK (Charleston, WV) say that the main evening and night Anchor Jennifer Abney told management that she was not renewing her contract and was moving on.

Okay… that happens, especially in a small market, but here’s where it gets a bit odd.

A source inside the station tells FTVLive that WOWK General Manager Sean Banks sent out a station-wide email announcing the new evening anchor before he ever (still hasn’t) announced that Abney was leaving.
