Anyone know what became of Jennifer Brien? I first heard her when she took over for Steve Lavelle on the WBZ overnight show in the 2012-13 time frame. She was at WBZ for only a short while, 3-4 months maybe, before being fired. I distinctly remember hearing Morgan White read a prepared statement from management while taking over for her. All very sudden, no announcements, listeners only found out that night tuning in to hear her.
Must admit I didn't care for here initially, but I grew to like her. A month or so in, however, I soon noticed pauses as she talked. She seemed confused. Then she started missing shows, and I think had to be relieved one night mid show. I figured she wasn't long for the job. Looks like she spent short stints at a few NE staions after BZ.
None of my business what her issues were, but hopefully she's healthy and employable. I see she has a podcast, but apparently no over-the-air shows.
