Tomorrow Jennifer Reed makes her debut on WYSP 94.1 FM as afternoon drive host from 3-7 PM. If anyone has listened to her in the past in other markets, what can listeners expect from Jennifer?

I've been doing some research over at the Atlanta and Memphis boards, her last two markets. There are some VERY interesting comments on both boards. I highly recommend you check them out. ;)

Jennifer Reed is on WYSP now

As of this post time, Jennifer Reed is on WYSP now hosting until 7 PM tonight. What do you think of her so far in her fist few minutes on the station. I think she sounds great.

she soud real good. i was listening to YSP all day and i got 2 hear her sign on..but then again more that 100,000 other people did as well

She does sound great and Philly needs a real radio rock chick!!!!!!!

Good to see that Philly appreciates real radio talent...Memphis doesn't...

Gotta get to Philly some day..

She is no biggie...just another card reader, so she looks good who gives a hoot. I listen to the radio for music not some stuck up chick that could not care less about her tetesterone hopped up male audiance. Its the music that counts, she could not care less about anyone. IMHO the female host Wendy on WRFF is so much better right to the point with the music and no fan fare....just the rock....

What to expect? To be sick of the tired, warn out phrase "Drive it like you stole it, bone it like you own it." And do check out her myspace page, she says she's 35?? HA Yeh, ok, is she still 35 after all these years? Knew her in another market and well, let's just say be proud of your age, don't lie about it! Wonder what age she's claiming now.

I think she sounds great AND looks great. If Jennifer says she's 35 who are we to doubt it.

Howard Stern celebrated his 51st birthday for almost 3 years. Less than 10 years away from social security elegibilty and still considered

the King in any format. Jennifers' hot and she rocks who cares who old or young she is...... I personally am tired of the "Fresh out of

college" , numbskull deliveries that just breathe amatuer. Thank you WYSP for keeping it fresh and rockin'

I agree 100%. I think she sounds great and it's refreshing to hear her as opposed to another dude right out of school.

Perhaps I'm not listening long enough but I barely hear her say anything other than promoting a contest or teasing the next music break. I haven't heard nearly enough of her to judge her.

Guys she has been on the air two days, give her time to get a feel for the audience, market etc...

For the next several weeks it will be music intensive and a tons of card reading....

I remember when Jaxon came on baord at WMMR it was very musin intensive.

If they're going to start their full on-air staff this week, they need to have something ready right away. YSP needs to be aggressive if they want to get listeners from MMR and RFF, otherwise they'll stay in their ratings hole (even if it is improved from their Free FM days).

As for Jaxon, I'll save my comments for another thread.

Thank you my friend, let the girl warm up. The first few days on the air blow ass. You are nervous about if the listeners will like you, how to run the equipment and how your bosses are gonna react. This is a MINOR list of worries for Jennifer. I wish and hope for the best for her. She got screwed in Atlanta. (meaning that she moved and was let go a few months later because the format flipped)

Jennifer ya sound good --- but you have to learn to say dub-uh (W) right when you say WYSP. And say it a lot.

Jennifer Reed is the real deal. She hit Atlanta at the exact wrong time - right before another bonehead Clear Channel format flip. Our loss is your gain Philly.
