So I cried in my beer to find out that Jennifer Rooks is leaving WCSH! Sure she'll be on MPBN from now on, but us bums who can't afford cable just can't tune it in all that well from behind the dumpster on Preble St!

In other news from One Congress Square, word has it the frizzy-headed anchor/reporter has departed for the thankless job of co-hosting WMTW's hash mark morning news. I hear Gannett gave her the old corporate escort out of the building. Hopefully she won't be uttering any s-bombs at Hearst-Argyle's runt of the litter. Then again, who would notice if she did?
 
Yes...Shannon Moss is going to WMTW. Apparently, Rachel Ruble will become the station's medical reporter.
 
Nice parting monologue by Jen on tonight's 11PM news. Much jocularity at the newsdesk, and (thankfully) no tears! About the only thing that would have made it better would have been a montage of her work over the past 13 years. Jen leaves big shoes to fill on the weekends at WCSH.
 
Do you have any video, newsbot? Can you post it on YouTube? I missed the 11 pm, but did see the 6pm when Lee Goldberg gave her his Pats tie.
 
You know, for a second there, this looked like a HS yearbook entry ("Jennifer ROCKS!"). ;D Then, I saw her on TV the other night and I missed the draw. She seemed pretty ordinary and small-market to me.

Just a useless observation....
 
From what I heard, Rachel went back out West...(where she came from?)
