"Jeopardy!" history happens tonight (Friday Mar 16th)

I'm not normally a Jeopardy watcher, but I wanna see what this is about.

It's probably some cheesy attention grabbing stunt......

Maybe for the first time in history, Alex Trebek will not act like a pompous ass.

I don't think a celebration would be in order if all three contestants tanked. When the contestants suck, Alex tends to get a little irritated.....besides, I believe that happened once on the old series on NBC hosted by Art Fleming...now..all three may have finished in a tie for first..I don't recall that ever happening...

How ironic the event should fall on this date. Many CBS affilliates who air the program...such as WTSP Tampa, bump the show for the NCAA hoop tournament. Alex even gets shoved aside by Pat Sajak, as Tampa Bays 10 will show "Wheel" at 12 midnight, following the last game...theres no indication this Jeopardy episode will be shown at all here...

I remember that happening more than once, but it has been a long time though since that happened. So that couldn't be it. Now it could be it's their 5,500th show since Jeopardy! celebrated their 5,000th show a few years back.

Other possibilities:

All three players end up with 0 (never has happened)

One player wins over $100,000 in one game.

All three players end up in the minus column, no Final Jeopardy.

Another Michael Larsen from Press Your Luck occurs and one player sweeps the whole board in both rounds.

Wrong. It happened on the second show of the first season in '84 back when they had the 5-show limit and it's happened many times before; outside from that moment I can't recall any other times than that.

Art Fleming comes in to say "Howdy" to everybody and Don Pardo is guest announcer....obviuously this may either be an annniversary episode or they all are going to say "We can't stand that Head-on commercial either!"

Ha-chichichichichichichi! :p

Steve Kirk comes in and does "Elder Bierman Weather" while Don Pardo watches. Speaking of Don Pardo watches..did you see the nice fake Rolex they are selling on Ebay with Don's face on it? Speaking of faces, Art Fleming had his lifted, and looks good..speaking of looking good, I really like that kind of punky, "Joan Jett" girl on American Idol. Speaking of that "Idol" love to have you to dinner some time...
AAAAH CHAchachachachacha

Didn't all three players on one of the celebrity shows finish in the red, inspiring the hilarious Will Ferrell SNL sketches? IIRC, they still had Final Jeopardy to determine whose charity got the most cash, however.

Since it's on a CBS station here (Birmingham's WIAT-42), I won't get to see whatever it is. :(

My guess: Not one answer in the entire show has the word "THIS" in it.

What is the first three way tie in the history of Jeopardy?

(The show just ended moments ago on WABC.)

What was each contestant's final score - $1?

What I don't get is why that 4 eyed dork ended up betting an even 2600 when he knew the most the others could win was 16,000. Seems to me he should have wagered 2,601 to end up beating them by a dollar.
