Jeopardy times in your city?

With some free time, I have been doing some informal reasearch on the show "Jeopardy!" I have seen the different clips, including the different versions (unaired pilots as well) and been reading about the changes and even about the Pilots. Well, an interesting question came up in my mind.

It turns out that Jeopardy! was originally a popular show on NBC, because it ran during the noon hours, (11am Central), and people on their lunch break would stop and watch the show. Well, here in Lubbock, the NBC station runs the current syndicated version at 11:00, and runs a new one back to back with a year old repeat, up until the news at noon. Which got me to wondering: "Do stations still run Jeopardy during lunch time." Not sure if Channel 11 in Lubbock does this unpurpose, (a throwback to the original ratings concept) or just as a coincidence (since that's where it does best).

So, my questions to all of you are these:
1. What time(s) does Jeopardy! run in your market? Is it on at noon/lunchtime also? How long has it been in that slot?
2. Is the show on an NBC affiliate? What affiliate (or lack of) is it on? CBS? ABC? Fox? CW? MyTV? Ind? More than one?
3. How long has it been on said station? Are you in a market where Jeopardy has been on continuously since the original 1964 inception? If so, same station? Don't remember?
4. Are you in a market where Jeopardy! does not air? If so, which one?

That's all I can think of, so these are the questions. Feel free to throw anything else in as well.
(Also, I am looking for clips of the older 70s version, but can't find any on youtube, google or yahoo! So if you have one, please post it somewhere)

1. Jeopardy! only runs at 7:30PM in my market (Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.)
2. Yes, it's on an NBC affiliate. Where I use to live (market 61) it was on ABC affiliate, and ran at 7.30PM.
3. (Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Market) Don't know, but it's been awhile. (Market 61): As far as I know, for since mid-80s.
4. No.

1. Jeopardy! airs at 6PM in Albuquerque following the 5:30 news
2. It's on a CBS Station
3. Has been on KRQE since I moved here in '98. If it's any consolation, when I lived in Denver and worked at KCNC, the show was on KMGH when it was CBS, however these days KMGH is ABC.
4. No...

WDIV (NBC) in Detroit has aired it at 12:30 PM weekdays for as long as I can remember - so at least 15 years. However, they air year-old repeats. So in other words, in June 2005 I was watching one of the first Ken Jennings episodes. :p

I don't have my retro Detroit listings from the 70s right here, so I don't know how long they have done this.

CBS o&o KTVT/11 Dallas/Ft. Worth runs Jeopardy! at 11 AM
(CT), and I believe they're all new episodes. KTVT is one of
the few CBS stations in the Central time zone to carry Young
And The Restless at 11:30 instead of 11 AM.

I remember a couple of years ago, ABC affiliate WJCL/22
Savannah, GA ran reruns of Jeopardy! at noon and new shows
at 7:30. Jeopardy! has since moved to NBC affiliate WSAV/3,
but the last I heard that station was showing Passions at noon.

There is one market where Jeopardy! and Wheel Of Fortune go
head-to-head that I know of: Birmingham, AL. Wheel is on ABC
33/40 (WCFT/WJSU) and Jeopardy! on CBS affiliate WIAT/42 at
6:30 (CT).

In Philly, Jeopardy has been on WPVI (ABC) at 7 p.m. (replacing the likewise long-tenured Tic Tac Dough)since its second year in this syndicated run.

The first season, it ran sometime in the mid-day (think it was 12:30 pm) on then-NBC KYW.

1. What time(s) does Jeopardy! run in your market? Is it on at noon/lunchtime also? How long has it been in that slot?
I am going to give you two answers, since I lived in Chicago and Wichita, Kansas...

In Chicago: Weekdays at 3:30 on WLS.
In Wichita: Weekdays at 4:30 on KSNW.

2. Is the show on an NBC affiliate? What affiliate (or lack of) is it on? CBS? ABC? Fox? CW? MyTV? Ind? More than one?

In Chicago: No (ABC)
In Wichita: Yes

3. How long has it been on said station? Are you in a market where Jeopardy has been on continuously since the original 1964 inception? If so, same station? Don't remember?

In Chicago: on WLS since Alex hosted it in 1981. Been on continuously since the inception, not on WLS, but on WMAQ (NBC5).

In Wichita: on KSNW since I lived here in 1989-94 and 2000-current.

4. Are you in a market where Jeopardy! does not air? If so, which one?
Nope.

1. 7:00 pm.
2. No. ABC affiliate WMAR-2. However, see my answer to #3 for the rest of the answer.
3. WMAR was carrying the Trebek Jeopardy! when I moved to the Baltimore market in 1985, when it was an NBC affiliate (WMAR swiched to ABC affiliation on January 2, 1995 and has carried Jeopardy! throughout my time in this market, although I can't remember the time slot history). Having watched precious little Baltimore (or Washington) TV prior to 1985, I can't comment on Jeopardy!'s pre-1985 history in those markets. (FWIW I moved to the Baltimore market from the Philly market and remember watching the Fleming Jeopardy! on KYW on snow days and during Christmas vacation while in middle school.)
4. Obviously, no. :)

Boston: WSBK (IND) 730PM has been on I think the 2nd or 3rd year.

Jeopardy was on NBC affiliate WHDH for many years at 7:30PM, but in 2001 the station decided to go with Access Hollywood/Extra, dumping Wheel and Jeopardy to UPN O&O WSBK at 5:00 and 5:30 respectively. A year or two ago, the two shows were moved up to 7:00 and 7:30; with WSBK forced to go independent with the end of the UPN, the station added a "classic" Jeopardy episode from recent years at 9:00PM.

In Cincinnati, "Wheel of Fortune" and "Jeopardy" are both on WCPO-TV, the local ABC affiliate. WCPO was with CBS until Scripps signed a deal with ABC in 1996.

Both shows have been in the same time slots for as long as I can remember. I'm 27 years old, so I only remember back to the mid-1980s.

I believe "Wheel" airs at 7 PM on WHIO-TV (CBS) in Dayton, OH. Last time I checked "Jeopardy" airs on WKEF-TV (ABC) at 7:30 PM in Dayton. WKEF was an NBC station until 2004.

Just a correction...Jeopardy airs on WDTN TV 2 which is an NBC affiliate in Dayton Ohio at 7:30PM...

I can only answer the first question for you, but I have it in 6 cities in the SW:

Phoenix has it on KNXV 15 (ABC) at 4:30 PM, sandwiched between their 4PM and 5PM local newscasts. The newscasts need a strong lead-in and follow-up, I suppose.

In Tucson, it's on KGUN 9 (ABC) at 4:00 PM.

In Yuma, KYMA 11 (NBC) at 3:30 PM, although they will show it at 10:30 AM on New Years Day.

In Las Vegas, KVBC 3 (NBC) at 6:30 PM.

In Reno, KOLO 8 (ABC) at 7:00 PM.

And in Salt Lake City, KJZZ 14 (MNTV) shows it at noon and at 7:30 PM. They delay their MyNetwork telenovelas until 11 PM - 1 AM. Verrrrrry conservative market.

WEWS in Cleveland was one of the stations carrying "Jeopardy!" from the first season (1984-85). It has followed "Wheel of Fortune" on the ABC affiliate at 7:30 from day one.

Other stations in my neck of the woods airing the show at 7:30:

WYTV (ABC affiliate in Youngstown, OH)
WSEE-TV (CBS affiliate in Erie, PA)
WTAP-TV (NBC affiliate in Parkersburg, WV)
WTOL-TV (CBS affiliate in Toledo, OH)
WSAZ-TV (NBC affiliate in Huntington-Charleston, WV)
WLIO-TV (NBC affiliate in Lima, OH)

Stations which do the reverse, airing "Jeopardy!" at 7 before "Wheel of Fortune":

WBNS-TV (CBS affiliate in Columbus, OH)
WPXI-TV (NBC affiliate in Pittsburgh, PA)
WPVI-TV (ABC affiliate in Philadelphia, PA)
WABC-TV (ABC-owned station in New York)

In addition, Canada's CTV network airs "Jeopardy!" nationally at 7:30 on its stations.

A sidebar: I'm among those who passed the "Jeopardy!" test but didn't get on the show.

3:30 pm
KHOU Houston CBS Affilliate
Been there for as long as I can remember and Im 26 years old
airs on Saturdays with re-runs at 11:00 PM

In Indiana:

NBC affiliates
WTWO TV 2 Terre Haute
Wheel at 7, Jeopardy at 7:30 for at least ten or twelve years (runs 7 days a week now)
WTHR TV 13 Indianapolis
Wheel at 7, Jeopardy at 7:30 for the last seven or eight years. WISH-TV ran the two in the same slots for many years previous
WFIE TV 14 Evansville
No Wheel (TTBOMK), Jeopardy at 3:30.

I'm not old enough to know what was happening in TV in the mid-80s.
