Jeopardy! weekend reruns

I've wondered about what Jeopardy! is going to do about their weekend reruns this season from a year behind. Because last season, they continued to show episodes with Alex hosting even after his last taped episodes aired. I would have thought they would have aired his last episode with the tribute at the end. Last weekend, they aired the episode in the same position as that one, but from 2020. And as far as the schedule goes, all the Jeopardy! weekend reruns seem to be from after Alex passed away. Though it would be nice if maybe on the last weekend before Season 38 begins, they could air Alex's last taped episode with the tribute. I feel like it couldn't be more appropriate, since it would be the last time we would ever get to see Alex hosting Jeopardy! on broadcast television. I think it would be nice if Game Show Network picked up reruns of the show soon, though I'm not sure if and when that's going to happen.

I’ve read in a few places that the daily reruns this season, at least for a time, will be week-old, not year old, starting in week 3 (starting with Mayim’s episodes). Weekends will also be Mayim initially.
I’ll believe it when I see it, but it makes sense.

In my opinion if their going to air 2 episodes of Jeopardy and 1 being a repeat they should air various episodes from 1984-2021) in the first half hour hosted by Alex Trebek.
