Jericho brought back by CBS

Assuming the deal gets done, it's a both great to see it come back and a bummer it's possibly for only 8 shows. I understand they want to do more, but if the first hiatus did that much damage to the momentum, will enough people tune in for 8 shows. And of course there's the question of where CBS puts it on the schedule. If the sacrifice it up against Idol again, don't expect any more than the original eight. Even the cheap 16 episodes Lost now gets per season would be better than 8.
 
I suspect that when it comes back a LOT of fans will be helping to promote it, also hopefully some way can be found to measure the online watchers-which helped contribute to it's "low ratings", I know I watched it online and through Itunes, and a lot of others did the same, and they weren't measured.
