And with BJ possibly on the way out at 103.9, the KMX "old guard" will
be no longer in the building.
Rick & Bubba gone too.
And was K.C. overheard saying he's done.
Pollard & Mason maybe new morning show if K.C. throws in the towel.

My previous info on "the beat" flip to classic country was slightly off target.
The flip will be WESP with ?????? & Jerome doing mornings.

Maybe the RP should give Amie Pollard a call.

But seriously, if the head honcho's at Styles/Magic let anyone else go, it should be those who screwed up the cluster with all the changes.

Now WTVY once again had a good book. I can't see anyone leaving there...At least not on their own accord. However, with Jerry gone from the RP, the heat could get turned back on WTVY. And we know how certain people's temper get when she gets challenged!

WKMX down in every demo combination I can see in PD Advantage. Someone keeps saying otherwise...And if they'd care to share, I'd love to hear how you are able to spin any good out of this book for WKMX. If you'd prefer off list, my address is in the profile. But PD Advantage is showing all around down for WKMX (see more info for some reason in North Florida boards). From what I've heard, the night guy wasn't let go only because of bad numbers...But maybe he missed at least one remote completely and has been late to others?

WJRL was the one station (besides WTVY) with any growth at all in the Styles/Magic building. Very good 12+, and actually #2 in men!!! But why oh why would you get rid of Rick and Bubba? Numbers? No. $$$? Maybe. With the cluster down as much as it is, plus the low low low spot rates of all Styles/Magic stations, combined with the huge loan that they took out for KDAY, maybe the new GM has come in to slash more fat?

How much longer before another investor kicks McCoy out much like McCoy kicked Tom & Kim out? At least with Tom & Kim, you knew they would tell you the truth. Even if it wasn't what you wanted to hear.

But with McCoy changing the name of the company, at least it fits. Like Magic...Poof...Now you see the ratings, now you don't! :

And why hasn't anyone else talked about the other drama? Sue Highes stepping down as GM. Did she see the writing on the wall and decide not to be in the hot seat, or was she pushed?

New GM...Dan Bradley. Word has it (Google him) that he's known for trying to save ailing stations. To bring some things back in line so stations are easier to unload. Possible for Dothan?

Wow I am gone for a few days and already other people getting the Ax.
Yes as I am sure you are all aware of the Shady Nation is no more in Dothan.
It seems my old OM BJ Kelly was showed the door as well from what I hear"damn Shame "
I have to admit its funny BJ fired me the first time now he is sitting on the outside with me.
Anyway people get fired everyday its radio boys and girls. There are changes in the Dothan market as someone pointed out the "old guard at KMX is pretty much done" I wish KMX and the staff well. I myself
am a happy camper back here in good old Market 57.

If Broadway is out I am sure he will land somewhere he has been doing this too long not have a few connections.

He worked for over 20 years at KMX and the very least deserves all of our respect for his time and talent put into this business.
