Jerry Douglas, 88

Oh, wow. I'm sorry to hear that. I thought he had died but that was just his character, but he appeared as a ghost. Now even that won't happen any more.
 
Another soap opera legend heads to eternal life in Heaven. My family will miss him, as they are still devout Y&R viewers. Condolences to his family and friends, and especially Peter Bergman (Jack). Will be interesting to see how the cast will honor the legacy of Jerry Douglas. In my opinion, he was as important of a character as the late and forever great Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper).

RIP John Abbott. :cry:
