Jerry Foster, who became Phoenix’s first airborne TV news personality and whose dramatic rescues garnered high ratings, has died. He was 82.

a helicopter, Jerry was a novelty initially. It quickly became apparent he was WAY more than
that. He was articulate yet down to earth, professional, informative and entertaining at the same
time. His many life saving rescues and vantage point in the sky made him worth changing channels!
Yes, he made mistakes in his life as do we all but in the end, he was a great guy and this news
of his passing stings and hurts deeply......
