You used to be able to catch him his Greek Islands Cafe at Seaport Village but the last time I saw him a couple years ago he was not doing too well - I don't recall what it was though - and I don't know if he spends much time there anymore (after some 28 years in business, he does deserve a break). He was quoted in an October 2008 San Diego newspaper column blurb about the restaurant.
 
Thanks for your response there. I too saw him at a restaurant over a couple of years ago and he did not seem too well. I know he has the restaurants at Seaport Village. Wish him well. Jan
