Guess these days there aren't enough people left at radio to do it, plus the audience share for the telethon is probably only about 10% of what it was before the days of cable tv, dvds, the internet & video games. The WXIN feed around 3p on Monday sounded like the audio was running through a pitch shifter. Jerry Lewis and Brian Wilkes voices were pitched down. Even the women had low voices. Strange effect for a telethon.
