Jerry Lewis Uncensored

Ever see the one where Jerry Lewis was at Channel 8, being interviewed by the late Mike Shapiro back in the early "Let Me Speak to the Manager" days, where Lewis goes on a rampage about how Dodge sponsors him, but he works very hard to be able to drive a Lincoln, and tells Shapiro, "Why the hell would I want to drive a Dodge? Maybe if I couldn't afford the Lincoln I might drive a Dodge, who knows?" I suspect it was some of that later-found ego that caused the split between he and Dean Martin. :p

Saw that a long time ago (late 1980's, I think.) Seems like channel 8 was running it for some reason.

Good eye, David! It was shown on the WFAA 40th anniversary special on 9/17/1989.

That would be when I saw it.

I think it's likely that Lewis did this to cause chaos durimg the taping, as part of his manic 8 year old in an adult body persona.
