JERRY O'CONNELL'S "SELF AUDITION" AS CHARLIE SHEEN REPLACEMENT

Don't know how Stamos turned out, but Jerry O'Connell is available.
from zap2it.com: They also have 3 minutes of his "self made" audition on the link below the story.

The latest in the series of shenanigans to come out of the Charlie Sheen debacle is Jerry O'Connell "auditioning" for the role of Charlie Harper on "Two and a Half Men." He immediately goes off-script and his Charlie voice is hilariously more old-timey-Western than Charlie Sheen.

The peeing bit is awesome - "Tiger pee pee, Tiger pee pee." We aren't so sure CBS would re-cast the role so much as write a new foil for Jon Cryer, but Jerry O'Connell wouldn't be bad. He probably won't be on "The Defenders" next year (we say that as fans, but the ratings aren't so hot).

What do you think, guys? Could Jerry O'Connell replace Charlie on the show?

Personally I think it would be a shame to let the program die now but I really don't see it continuing on without major changes either - Charlie or no Charlie.

The "1/2" is now almost full grown so "Jake" isn't the dumb little kid that has been lending much to the humor over the years. And because of that the interaction between "Alan" and "Judith/Herb" will have to come to an end as well. The loss of those three characters in addition to the original "Charlie" will make the show look nothing like its predecessor.

Might be time to call it a day.

In my humble opinion, this nonsense will go on for about two more weeks, than Charlie will go away. He will resurface in August all clean and sober (I hope). He will do the "apology tour" thing and everything will return to normal again (once again, I hope). If this does happen, I would hope his CBS/Warner Bros. contract would be written a lot different to include drug tests, suspensions without pay, etc.. Filming could start in August and the show could return in September. I would think the character of "Charlie Harper" would have to undergo many changes also. If this happens, would the show be as funny???

Just a thought,
Stuart

a rehab charlie harper could work.

even though it was short lived(2 seasons and only one delt with the alcoholism recovery) the john larriquett show from the mid 90`s delt with a guy quiting substance abuse and did it with an inteligent style of humor.
