Jerry Russell Texas Station Fined $11,000

KZEL/Tyler, TX was fined $11,000 for several violations. This comes on the heels of KWRD/Henderson, TX also being fined $11,000. I wonder when the FCC will finally get around to fines in Mississippi and Arkansas? Of course, Russell will never pay them.

COMMUNITY BROADCAST GROUP, INC. Issued a monetary forfeiture in the amount of $11,000 to Community Broadcast Group, Inc.,Tyler, Texas for failure to operate the station in accordance with the station authorization and failure to make available a complete public inspection file. Action by: Regional Director, South Central Region, Enforcement Bureau. Adopted: 03/22/2007 by Forfeiture Order. (DA No. 07-1375).
