Jersey Shore (MTV Series)

I live in NJ...I've seen some complaints about the show. But from the commercial I've seen, its pretty much true of what some people are here and alot down the shore.

The biggest complaints are from the residents of the shore.  Hit 106 (WHTG-FM) talked about it on Pork Roll & Eggs last week about the show "ruining" the REAL jersey shore, as in local residents are surfers, skaters, rockers, etc. and some of the people on this show aren't from New Jersey.  I've had a conflict with the "Benny Go Home" campaign stating that my online stream was "catering to bennies" because it was a dance format.  At the same time, these "locals" have no problem taking money from "bennies" or complain about the business they get in the summer or hearing pounding dance/club/techno music from nightclubs and bars around here.  I respect what BGH is doing, and that's defending their home turf, at the same time, I noticed majority of locals usually are in Manasquan, Bradley Beach, or Ocean Grove. Majority of these bennies only mess around in Belmar, Point Pleasant, and Seaside Heights. Another thing, how do we even know these locals go to their own beach and not to other locations like LBI, Ocean City, or Wildwood?
