Where would you put this 94.7 at the Jersey Shore?

101.7 doesn't reach the shore - at all.

Where are we fitting TWO 105.7s?

Isn't this going to be confusing with 3 stations called "The Breeze"?

If they really wanted to do we Jazz fans some favors, WYGG could sign off permanently so we can real some real Jazz from WBGO in that part of the county.

Trying to say this as nice as I can.
dont be a donkey
You dont like the fact that a north Jersey station cannot Be heard down south.
Move Up North Or donate a Music library they can play locally for you..
You have some anger. Point it against IBOC. Not a real community run radio station. For a group with Little budget. They are looking to expand its listenership WYGG does pretty well holding its own. Apparently WBGO cannot get the Coverage they want. Because at Night they are using WNJN 88.1 in Trenton
as a second transmitter for south jersey. Either that Or WNJN has No NPR programming and Fills the space with WBGO Simulcast.
Its bad Enough that WYGG was on the Frequency first and WNJN Slams into their Coverage area.
WYGG should have coverage out as far as Rt 34 and rt 18, However Because of WNJN they are lucky they get out past the GSP and Rt18. thats almost a 12
mile(major)Difference.

I wont accuse anyone of wrong doing. But Im willing to Bet that Trenton is putting out 100+watts from the antenna and not taking Height 700+ feet into the ERP formula.
Ill bet if you Figure in the Height it would be closer to 500+ watts erp
Not For Nothing when WYGG was Running 100watts ERP at aprox 50 feet at the old 2 story Building they had Better Coverage than they Do Now running 50watts ERP
at aprox 140 feet on the 12 story Building. as Per their current agreement with the FCC. even though the License says 100watts.
This still brings me to wonder how
WDDM/WCNJ has the Coverage they have at 10watts ERP licensed at 125 feet.

LOL! You're trying to say that Asbury Park is "south"? LMAO!

a) yes its south of WBGO
b Asbury park is outside the WBGO contour primary and just outside the Distant.
Should I complain that I cannot Hear WBAB Asbury? NO..

All of the NJN stations relay WBGO overnight. They probably thought it was a more interesting option than repeating the day's NPR shows.

Sorry, Groucho, I'm going to stand my ground. IBOC has nothing to do with it. Monmouth County is Central Jersey and has always been solidly within WBGO's service contour - Ocean County may be something else entirely. But the fact is, WYGG makes WBGO unlistenable in the east-central part of Monmouth County. And, quite often in my personal listening experience, WYGG has been overmodulating (perhaps simply because of sloppy board work more than anything else) and making the problem even worse. Perhaps the people at the "community run" station have the best of intentions. But the cold, hard fact is, the FCC should never have put a station there. Another example of the FCC's AM-ization of FM. Islands of service in a sea of interference. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
