Jesse and Gene look for Fred

It's old news now that Fred (from the Humble and Fred show) has been let go from the mix morning show, (now called the Humble Howard morning show) but Jesse and Gene would like to have him on their show.

visit www.Jesseandgene.com and have a listen to the Sept. 5th and 10th bits by clicking on the "Today's bit" feature.

Some other funny things too...like the call to Mix 999 that they made.
The receptionist is a good sport.(and yes, the call is current.)

Could Jay & Billie have a website?

Short answer: NO
They are still under a strict no compete dismisal from CHFI, that may or may not leave them employed in another market out there soon.

The difference between J&G and MD&Billie is that J&G don't have to care about radio contracts at this time.

I'm sure MD&Billie could perhaps set up a diary or something similar to what Erin Davis has, but it would still have to be very Rogers friendly until further notice. <P ID="signature">______________

I believe Yeziknowradio means that they are not free to go to another company at all, until their current contract or severance runs out.
That should not stop them from doing something on the internet.
I will agree that if they're smart, Jay(aka Mad dog) and Billie will not do anything to trash anything or ANYONE in radio...you never know who their next pd will be!
(they are staying in radio...right?)

Thank-you YeZiKnowRadio! That was very funny! I love the part when Jes...wait, instead of mentioning my favorite part, I'll just say that I loved it. Very entertaining. That way I dont spoil it for others.

Thnx/2nd question:

... that they are not free to go to another company at all,
until their current contract or severance runs out.
*Gotcha : ) * And, thank you for the accurate info. *

2nd question (regarding the text below)

Does their current, and pending next contract, saying they
stay in the 'game' have some thing where they MUST be a team??

Sure, they work GREAT together, and have at 2 entirely different
formats, but - say..if Mad-Dog, *After the current contract expires of course*
was offered a one-jock position at.. z103..Or Where ever..
can he [LEGALLY]take it without billie?
<>
Vice Versa:
Can billie holiday (gotta luv the originality there : ) become a part of
a (rogers/non-rogers) station air staff *After the current contract expires of course* w/OUT jay-Mad dog ??
When, i say can..i mean LEGALLY -- can she do it ?

just wondering..

> can he [LEGALLY]take it without billie? <---Rogers has to decide wether or not to extend the contract...but by that point in time it will just be a waste of money if he is not employed with Billie some place, so yes, they can go seperate ways if Rogers doesn't do something to keep them employed and/or severanced. Who really knows at this point.
